Um deinen Einstieg ab dem 01.09.2024 bei uns bestmöglich zu gestalten, bieten wir dir ein umfangreiches Training, den Java & Public Jumpstart@IBM – hier werden praxisorientiert deine Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Java SE/EE, Datenbanken, Git, Design Thinking und Scrum vertieft. Danach erhältst du eine intensive Schulung im Public Sector, wo Du alles über Kunden, Anforderungen und Besonderheiten der Industry erfährst. Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss startest du direkt in deinem ersten Kundenprojekt im Bereich Java-Entwicklung an unserem Standort Magdeburg.

In dieser Rolle arbeitest du im IBM Client Innovation Center Germany (CIC), wo wir tiefgehendes technisches Know-how und Industriekenntnisse in einer breiten Palette an Kundenprojekten im öffentlichen und privaten Sektor zum Einsatz bringen. Unser CIC bietet lokal ansässigen Unternehmen und dem öffentlichen Sektor technische Expertise um Innovation voran zu treiben und neue Technologien zu implementieren.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Nach deinem Training und einer Einarbeitung in das Projekt bist du für das Design und die Implementierung von Java- und/oder Cloud-basierten Anwendungen verantwortlich
  • Dabei optimierst du insbesondere Backendlösungen und entwickelst diese weiter
  • Du nutzt zeitgemäße Vorgehensmodelle (z.B. Scrum) und zukunftsweisende Technologien (z.B. Cloud)
  • Mit deinen TeamkollegInnen entwickelst du maßgeschneiderte Lösungen für unsere Kunden

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Du hast einen IT-relevanten Studienabschluss oder eine vergleichbar Berufsausbildung
  • Dabei konntest Du bereits erste Kenntnisse in der objektorientierten Programmierung sammeln
  • Im Idealfall hast du bereits erste praktische Projekterfahrungen
  • Teamarbeit ist für Dich selbstverständlich
  • Du hast sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (mind. C1-Level) und gute Englischkenntnisse
  • Du hast ein Interesse am öffentlichen Sektor und der Digitalisierung des Landes
