Position Summary
The newly created Professional Education Senior Specialist in Epilepsy will be responsible for implementing tactics and evaluating impact of programs designed to ensure key physician segments are trained in the safe and appropriate use of our VNS Therapy System. As such, they play a key role in tracking, evaluating and elevating the value of our professional education programs.
This position will report to the Professional Education Manager - Epilepsy and they will collaborate closely with the Epilepsy marketing team, KOLs, Medical Affairs team, Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), and the sales organization to deliver healthcare provider (HCP) initiatives in line with the commercial strategy.
This person will help define performance metrics that analyze the value for healthcare provider (HCP) initiatives. They will assist in digital learning initiatives, content development, and improving communication and execution of the evolving LivaNova HCP curriculum.
Essential Job Functions
Leveraging organizational, analytical and implementations skills to improve professional education performance and reporting to increase contribution to LivaNova's goals and objectives
Update current and create content for key educational topics related to proper use of the VNS Therapy System
Manage all aspects of e-Learning System for HCPs
Personal ethics consistent with LivaNova values and culture, championing the Ethics and Compliance culture
Understand local rules and regulations for healthcare provider interactions across North America
Implement, track and measure progress of the Action Plans related to Professional Education, consistent with LBS methodology and with the NM Epilepsy strategic initiatives.
Track and analyze KPIs within operational plans

Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree required
Master's degree with Marketing/Business Administration/Health Science focus is desired
1-3 years experience in medical device marketing, Clinical Support, Medical Science Liaison and/or Sales in Med Tech or pharmaceutical
Experience in Neuromodulation or other healthcare industry knowledge is preferred
Experience in organizing training content and courses
Travel
Approximately 10-30%

Remote - with access to major airport hub
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $93,000-$124,000.
