    School Description: 
    Dayton Consolidated School is a highly rated, public school located in DAYTON, ME. It has 130 students in grades PK, K-5 with a student-teacher ratio of 10 to 1.

    Brief Job Duties:
    The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

     
    1. Review and reinforce learning previously introduced by the classroom or special education teacher and assist in drill and practice activities.
    2. Experience working with students with Developmental Delays.
    3. Participate in required workshops by request of Building Leader, Supervisor, or Director.
    4. Perform non-instructional, non-evaluating functions including suspension of students.
    5. Assist in preparation of instructional materials or provide classroom management functions during emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, etc.
    6. Alerts teacher to any problem or special information about an individual student.

    Certification/License:
    Certification as an Education Technician from the Maine Department of Education
    Criminal History Record Check (CHRC), which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education 

    Education: 
    Appropriate for Ed Technician III Certification Level

    Experience: 
    Experience working with students with Developmental Delays.
