Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Power Consultant to join one of our top telecommunications clients. This role focuses on the Power Strategy for their entire business. A background in Electrical Engineering, and experience creating, designing and operationalizing a power strategy in a telecommunication environment is required. Experience implementing a power strategy in a wireless network environment will also be considered a bonus but is not required. This role is fully remote, but the ability to travel to their head office for the first week is desired.

Required Skills & Experience

- P.Eng or E.I.T. with degree in Electrical Engineering. Must be registered with a Canadian engineering association

- 7+ years' experience in mission critical North American telecommunications power systems, specifically DC and AC technologies for wireless networks.

- Experience taking ideas and conceptualizing, operationalizing and executing on strategy specifically in the telecommunications environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with Wireless Network power strategy
