Job Summary:
Duties include, but are not limited to, processing general ledger
entries; overseeing and assisting in the daily activities of general ledger
accounting by providing guidance and training to support personnel;
maintaining the capital assets accounting system; supporting district staff
regarding accounting issues; maintaining a continuous internal auditing
program for all funds; and preparing statistical and analytical data and
reports as required.
Description:
Process general ledger entries including monthly transportation,
nutrition, payroll, petty cash, purchasing cards, warehouse and other
closing entries. Review journal entries to ensure accuracy of the general
ledger. Reconcile nutrition and payroll bank accounts at month end. Manage
investment account activity and reconciliations. Maintain a continuous
internal auditing program for all funds.
