Job Description:
Interstate is seeking Technicians for work at our locations in our Western region, which includes:Bismarck and Williston North Dakota, Billings Montana , and Gillette Wyoming. The rotation program allows employees to travel to the facilities to perform maintenance for extended durations and then travel home for days off. Rotations include travel allowance, accommodations, and meal allowances. This program provides a significant benefit to the employee to keep their place of residence.
Interstate Power Systems Technicians will perform maintenance to oil and gas, mining, and over the road equipment. This includes Technicians with experience in all aspects of Frac truck maintenance and repair, big bore engines, transmissions, and other related components and systems.
Rotational Diesel Technician Pay Range: $28.00-$42.00/hour D.O.E.
Job Duties
Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on oil and gas, mining equipment, and over the road trucks
Diagnose, repair, adjust, and replacement of all heavy-duty components
Positive interface with service writers, foreman, parts department, and customers
Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion
Meet requirements for certifications
Administrative duties as related to position
Desired Skills and Qualities
Technical degree or certification a plus
Previous experience in large bore engines, transmissions and related components and systems
Positive attitude and the ability to set goals and accomplish them
The desire to take advantage of certification opportunities to have the most updated product training
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Position Requirements
Must be physically able to lift and work with no restrictions
All candidates subject to IPS pre-employment screenings, which include background and drug screens
