Job Description | Reporting to the Senior Associate Vice President Marketing Strategy (SAVP), the Executive Director of Marketing Strategy (ED), serves as the lead Marketing Strategist for undergraduate and post-traditional recruitment and the undergraduate student experience. Will strategize, plan and execute multi-channel marketing efforts designed to support new student recruitment goals from prospects to applications to matriculation. A strategic-thinker who translates big-picture marketing vision to implementable operational plans, a dot-connector who understands how our marketing efforts work together to build our brand and advance the University’s enrollment goals. Partners with both undergraduate and post-traditional admissions teams, and Marketing channel teams to develop and execute marketing strategies to engage prospective students using various technologies and platforms. Understands the audience goals/objective and pull together an integrated marketing team to co-create and implement enrollment marketing strategy (bridging traditional marketing tactics, digital media, etc.). Directs team as they partner with ESE and others within Marketing to bring marketing strategies from concept to completion. A problem-solver, the ED ensures dozens of projects stay on-time and on- budget. Manage relationships and mobilize resources to meet goals, while spotting and mitigating potential issues. Regularly provides excellent counsel to the SAVP/CMO. |
Qualifications | A bachelors degree and a minimum of 10 years in marketing or marketing strategy development. Three or more years of higher education experience, with a focus on enrollment/recruitment marketing and communications is preferred. A minimum of five years leading large and managing diverse marketing teams. A track record of implementing major national omni-channel marketing campaigns which meet or exceeded stated measurable goals. |
