TITLE: School Psychologist LOCATION: Jefferson Lewis BOCES, Watertown, New York with possible assignment between two component districts. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of educators to provide services to students. Duties include: Psychological evaluations, IEP development, group and individual counseling, and consultation with parents and faculty Participate in districts Response to Intervention and Committee on Special Education in making decisions that are in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of the NYS Learning Standards and Assessments Knowledge of curriculum content and accepted methods of instruction Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team Excellent written and oral communication skills Valid NYS Teacher Certification as School Psychologist SALARY: Starting at $60,532. Commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association.
