Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Intern Delivery Consultant, you will work closely with a Delivery Consultant coach to learn and deliver industry-leading solutions to IBM clients. In this role, you will gain visibility and experience how we apply technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery using consultative skills such as problem-solving issue- / hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation skills. As a member of IBM Technology Expert Labs, you will have a chance to witness client-focused interactions, demonstrate courageous, pragmatic, and technical acumens to co-develop new solutions that address real business challenges.

Understanding clients’ main challenges and developing solutions that help them reach true business value by working through the phases of design, development integration, implementation, migration, and product support with a sense of urgency.

Supporting agile plans where you are collaborating with senior colleagues for installing and provisioning assets, testing, migrating to production, and day-two operations .

Demonstrating a natural curiosity towards technology, trends with an initiative for navigating data and people to find answers and present solutions.

Strong collaboration and communication skills as you work across the client, partner, and IBM team.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills that are engaging, compelling, and influential.
-
Registered undergraduate university student (rising Junior or rising Senior). B.S. in M.I.S., Business/Communications with a STEM minor, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering.

Hands-on exposure to real-world application of data analytics, security, automation, information systems, or engineering concepts.

Understanding and experience with at least one programming language, design tools, (e.g. Python, Java, C/C++).

Familiar with open architectural design including Kubernetes and Container design, database’s structure and data fabric, and integrating using API’s and scripting
