The ideal candidate will have strong analytical/critical thinking and an understanding of Supply Chain principles & modeling

Four days in the office and one day remote

Hours are 8am to 5pm

Pay is $24/hr

Currently hiring for 2 Supply Chain and Logistics Interns

10 week summer internship starting June 3rd and concluding August 9th

Job Description Summary: Assist experienced supply chain analysts in the continuous improvement of business processes and data collection systems. Provide analysis for the interpretation of business data and creation of concise, objective reports to be shared with senior management. Students will gain the ability to work well with multiple levels and functions in the organization with confidence, manage multiple tasks and priorities, and develop presentation skills.

This role will be contributing to a high performance team that values different perspectives and new ideas, and be accompanied by experienced professionals that will participate in your individual professional development and an enhanced understanding of Airgas operations and business.

Supply Chain Operations

Partner with Supply Chain team on a Continuous Improvement Project

Support Logistics team with meeting customer requirements including scheduling deliveries, answering customer calls and emails

Data Management and Analysis

Learn the skills and gain exposure to use of analytic, decision and information systems within the organization and supply chain

Support the reliability and efficiency of distribution operations using analysis and operations research tools such as optimization, simulation and data analysis

Associate Culture

Gain First-hand experience of servant leadership, key imperatives and BeActEngage programs within a cohesive team environment

Required Qualifications

Currently working towards a graduate or undergraduate degree, a focus in Supply Chain, Logistics, or business administration preferred

Ability to learn and utilize Google applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail)

Strong Mathematical abilities including ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and to compute rate, ratio, and percentages

Must have reliable, appropriate transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior internship experience preferred
