Mid-Level Transmission Line Engineer (In-office or Hybrid)
POWER Engineers is currently seeking a Mid-Level Transmission Line Engineer for our Overhead Transmission design team.. The candidate has the option of office-based work in our Mount Laurel, NJ office or hybrid (at least 2 days in-office) from a mutually acceptable location. This position has a flexible work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review engineering deliverables in support of overhead transmission line projects
- PLS-CADD model
- PLS-POLE models
- Project design criteria
- Steel pole loading calculations and drawings
- Engineering drawings and specifications
- Foundation designs and drawings
- Bill of materials
- Provide mentorship and guidance to others. Perform detailed engineering reviews of the work submitted by others.
- Coordinate regularly with the Project Engineer to ensure project scope, budget, and quality expectations are met.
Required Education/Experience:
- Fundamentals of Engineering licensure
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Electrical Engineering
- The candidate must have a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel.
- Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite
- At least 3 years of experience using PLS-CADD
Preferred Education/Experience:
- Three (3) or more years’ experience in transmission line design as outlined above
- Professional Engineering license (PE) is strongly preferred but not required
- Managerial and leadership skills a plus

Salary DOE: The pay range for this position is $85-$125K per year; however, base pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This figure does not include additional compensation such as health benefits, vacation, 401k, etc.
