Position Summary | Reporting to the Director of Financial Compliance, the Senior Financial Compliance Officer is responsible for overseeing and ensuring financial compliance with aspects of awarded grants and contracts and all applicable financial regulations. This includes developing and implementing compliance programs and procedures, monitoring and assessing compliance risks, and investigating and resolving compliance issues. The Senior Financial Compliance Officer also works closely with senior management and stakeholders to ensure that financial operations are conducted in a compliant and ethical manner. |

Preferred Qualifications | • Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. • Demonstrated experience in post-award administration within an academic environment and an understanding of university business procedures and governmental regulations. • Demonstrated skills in an institutional/educational environment. • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or demonstrated process improvement experience. |

Immunization Requirements | It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are required to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain an exemption from MSM will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination. |
