Software Engineer
Headquartered in Newark, NJ - Telecommute Position

Participate in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions. Contribute to project development and support, with a moderate level of independence, including work related to Machine Learning. Design and develop software modules following project requirements and technical specifications. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement project features, including those involving Machine Learning. Apply software engineering methods to create, test, and document software solutions. Investigate and resolve software bugs and issues with moderate supervision. Provide support for software maintenance, including debugging and troubleshooting. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical problems and optimize existing solutions, including Machine Learning-related tasks. Participate in customer support discussions when needed, though not a primary focus. Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user guides. Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project delivery. Assist in mentoring junior team members and share knowledge within the team, including Machine Learning concepts. Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining high software quality standards. Follow established development and quality processes to ensure consistency and reliability in software delivery.

HOURS: 35 hours per week
SALARY: $85/hour

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology Management or a related degree discipline followed by five (5) years of progressive experience in the specialty field IN THE ALTERNATIVE TO THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS THE EMPLOYER IS WILLING TO ACCEPT Master’s degree in Computer Science, Technology Management or a related degree discipline and three (3) years of related experience
