- HVAC Service, Residential & Commercial
- Testing & Balancing
- Architectural Wall Panels
- Welders
- Shop Fabrication
- Specialty Metal Work

NO EXPIERIENCE – NO PROBLEM Local 38 offers ON THE JOB TRAINING for those with no prior experience.
Starting pay for Apprentices is over $40.00 per hour – benefits included.

SMART 38 sets the area standards in wages and benefits. No matter what your skill level, we have a competitive wage package for you. Our members receive an hourly wage with additional benefits including medical, dental, vision, and pension all provided at no extra cost to you.
Our Benefits don’t come off your hourly wage, they are in addition to what you make on the check!
Our Commercial Journeyperson’s make $53.22/HR on the check with a total wage package of $100.40/HR.
Our HVAC Technicians make $36.31/HR on the check with a total wage package of $61.05/HR.
Our Service Journeyperson’s make $39.75/HR on the check with a total wage package of $61.70/HR.
Our Specialty Light Commercial Workers make $41.01/HR on the check with a total wage package of $75.70/HR.
Our Classified Workers make $19.93/HR on the check with a total wage package of $35.14/HR.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Have a valid State issued ID
- Have dependable transportation
- High School Diploma or GED (For Apprenticeship Applicants Only)
- Have the desire to learn and work well with others
- Use industry related tools and safety products
- Authorized to work in the United States
** Licensing & welding certifications are a plus**
