Job Description

 
1 Full Time Seasonal H-2A Job available 3/10/2024 - 11/15/2024. Duties: Operator will drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools and or farm workers. Operator will be required to drive plant materials and supplies between farms, move all materials as needed and deliver potting mix and pots. They will load, unload and drive a semi truck with a 53" trailer, flatbed, double or triple custom skid trailers. Operator may at times pick up workers, take them to the worksite and drive them back to their housing. Other duties may include simple daily vehicle maintenance checks, timekeeping, field walking, filling water jugs for the workers when needed and ensuring field sanitation and safety measures are maintained. They may be asked to assist with inventory, check irrigation and check plants for dryness and diseases (scouting). Operator is required to live in the housing provided by the employer and report any housing deficiencies or issues to the employer. They will also take workers once a week to the bank and grocery store. Background check and random drug testing will be post-hire at employer expense.
