DNV is seeking a Project Manager for a remote role available in the following locations: Austin, Houston, Medford, New York, Oakland, Portland, San Diego and Seattle.
This role would be serving our Independent Engineering (IE) team within the Energy Storage Engineering (ESE) team.
The purpose of this role is to support major customer accounts, lead project due diligence, advise clients of energy storage industry best practices, manage projects, contribute to process improvements, share knowledge, obtain and receive feedback, and a bit of business development including developing proposals.

What You'll Do
Initiating and coordinating the technical review process among internal specialists (including civil and electrical engineering, energy assessment, technology experts, permitting, battery safety, contract reviews, etc.)
Communicating with clients to provide timely and relevant project updates and deliverables while ensuring milestones are met and expectations are exceeded
Perform overall project management activities and ensuring excellent customer communication
Building business with existing and new clients by demonstrating DNV's value and developing proposals in response to sole sourced requests or RFPs
Participating in continuous improvement efforts for the ESE team, including tool development, process refinement, and lessons learned activities
Performing portions of the due diligence reviews, including contract and financial model (OPEX and CAPEX) reviews
Developing content for blog posts, industry conferences, and client workshops
Juggling multiple projects and levels of responsibility simultaneously
Converting with vague and incomplete information into well-informed, risk-mitigated conclusions
Working with a diverse group of fun and talented people
Collaborating with technical specialists to write and peer review due diligence reports
Coordinating construction and operational monitoring by DNV, including performing site visits, reviewing construction documents, progress reports, schedules, budgets, change orders, and invoices to ensure the project is built as designed to meet performance expectations
