    We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Lakeville, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.


    Responsibilities:

    • Process invoices and payments accurately while adhering to company policies and deadlines.

    • Maintain and update vendor accounts, ensuring proper coding and documentation.

    • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.

    • Utilize accounting software systems, such as ADP and ERP platforms, to manage financial data.

    • Handle accrual accounting and ensure compliance with auditing standards.

    • Monitor automated clearing house (ACH) payments and ensure timely processing.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounts payable processes and improve efficiency.

    • Generate regular reports and assist in financial analysis related to payables.

    • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations in all accounts payable procedures.

    • Support month-end and year-end closing processes with accurate data entry and reporting.

    • Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
    • Proficiency in accounting software systems, including ADP and ERP platforms.
    • Strong knowledge of accounts payable functions, accrual accounting, and auditing practices.
    • Familiarity with automated clearing house (ACH) processes and vendor management.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Experience with tools like Concur for expense management is preferred.
