The duties of the Account Rep. are many, as the position is that of the communication channel between the owner of the property and the crews performing the landscaping service on site, and between all parties involved in production, logistics, and customer service. This position is integral to every function of our business.
What Heritage needs from our Account Service Representatives:
- Follow daily, weekly, monthly client visit schedule that ensures regular face to face contact with all clients
- Support branch leaders (Senior/Branch Manager, Irrigation Managers, Business Development Manager, etc.) in meeting departmental and company wide goals
- Oversee and direct the completion of client contract obligations performed by the maintenance crews assigned to each property
- Create and assemble compelling enhancement sales proposals
- Pursue individual sales goals as created by/with supervisor(s)
- Follow estimating/sales processes to ensure proposal information is 100% accurate and relevant to client requests and property needs
- Anticipate landscaping needs of properties within their portfolio to communicate knowledgeable information to the client regarding potential issues, seasonal changes, and other relevant information that could impact the landscaping of their properties
- Review estimates/proposals with Senior Branch and/or Branch Manager prior to presentation/submission
- Work in conjunction with relevant departments to discuss all areas serviced on each property (i.e. irrigation system, enhancement projects, herbicide needs, billing and administrative issues, etc.)
- Keep accurate and consistent log of customer interactions to ensure communication is consistent, accurate, and meets the needs of the client
- Perform regular site visits in conjunction with customer visits to check in periodically on the state of the property
- Convey needs and requests of clients to crews working on site, staff in the office, and management
- Convey specific areas that need improvement to crews before client has to request that we do so
- Identify enhancement opportunities proactively and create compelling arguments as to why proposed projects would enhance the clients asset
- Take responsibility for the actions of crews on each property in their portfolio in the case of issues and/or commendations
- Communicate with every position/department within the company regularly to ensure that all parties are aware of current ongoings
- Communicate the needs of your crews, yourself, and your department to supervisors to ensure expectations and company goals can be reasonably met
- Be accountable for all missteps on their own part and work to logically resolve issues in a way that is positive for all parties involved
- Work in conjunction with various departments to ensure all projects are completed efficiently and accurately
- Ensure all practices and procedures are performed to meet company goals and expectations
- Clearly communicate the needs of the department to supervisors to ensure the team has all the tools and support required to meet department and company goals
- Accept in stride any additional reasonable duties or responsibilities as they are appointed to you
