Job Description:
Need 30 full time, temporary, seasonal Farm Workers to work in Stevens, Grant, Swift, Traverse, Chippewa, and Kandiyohi Counties in Minnesota.
From: 04/01/2025 to 12/15/2025
Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day

As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

JOB DUTIES: Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, manure application, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops; Plant crops, trees, or other plants; Load agricultural products into trucks, and drive trucks to market or storage facilities; Operate farming equipment; Maintain agricultural equipment; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Transport animals, crops, or equipment; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Clean equipment or facilities; Build agricultural structures; Prepare land for agricultural use; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Maintain and repair irrigation and climate control systems; Set up and operate irrigation equipment; Operate irrigation systems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.

Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
