Job Description

 
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsible for compiling and analyzing information,
including conducting special studies in areas including operational
effectiveness, capacity utilization, cost continue to containment, and
labor utilization, to ensure maximum manufacturing quality and
feasibility; capture machine productivity data, and analyze key
performance indicators; prepare detailed charts, graphs and diagrams to
allow easy illustration for the analysis of the workflow, routing, floor
layouts, material handling, machine, and labor utilization; measure and
report machine downtime to help improve productivity for manufacturing
and business processes to maintain a competitive edge in the industry;
utilize and apply knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies, SolidWorks, Root
Cause Analysis, Kaizen, High Pressure Die Casting, 5 Why\'s, Rockwell
Automation, 5S\'s, FANUC, Allen Bradley PLC, AutoCAD, Prosupervisor,
FLIR Thermal Studio, PQ\^2 analysis, and X-ray operation to perform
assigned duties; apply knowledge of defect types in HPDC and machining
areas, and recommend how to solve them; identify type of porosity,
including gas, flow and liquid); understand tooling and material
properties; develop reports based on performance operations and other
systems for the plant management in order to maximize daily operations;
synthesize current business intelligence and trend data to support
recommendations for action based on the Global Operations Metrics Manual
guidelines; identify and promote business enhancements, as well as
value, utilizing data analytics and smart technologies; maintain a
library of model documents, templates, and other reusable knowledge
assets for department reference and guidance; and consult with managers
to ensure that annual budgets are made in accordance with current
information and accurate assumptions. Location: 4243 Gateway Drive,
Sheboygan, Wisconsin 53081; Salary: \$97,812 per year Education:
Bachelor - Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronic
Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent
foreign degree). Training: None Experience: Two (2) years in the
position above, as a Process Engineer, as a Quality Engineer, as an
Automation Engineer, as a Maintenance Engineer, or in a related
occupation. Experience must include two (2) years use of all the
following: Six Sigma methodologies, SolidWorks, Root Cause Analysis,
High Pressure Die Casting, Rockwell Automation, FANUC, Allen Bradley
PLC, AutoCAD, Prosupervisor, FLIR Thermal Studio, PQ\^2 analysis, and
X-ray operation. Will also accept any suitable combination of education,
training, and/or experience. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND
QUALIFICATIONS: Experience must include two (2) years use of all the
