Order#: NY1497212 Administrative Assistant - Mental Health Center Purpose: The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support services to the Manager of the Mental Health Center and therapist staff. Coordinates key office operations relating to the administrative functions of the mental health center. Key Functions: Provides support for departmental meetings including organizing, transcribing and distribution of minutes, as well as communication to staff regarding the meetings Creating and maintaining various reports and Quality Improvement Surveys as requested by the Manager and Coordinator. Maintains and organizes departmental files and paperwork, including development of new forms and processes as assigned by the Program Manager and/or supervisor. Provides support and coverage to the Registration Coordinator. Coordinates translation services for client appointments. Responsible for ordering and maintaining office supplies for the Mental Health Services Division Participates in certain agency committees as representative for the Mental Health Services Division. Adhere to Company policies and procedures to include being aware of the importance of Corporate Compliance Policies and the Code of Conduct. Responsible for maintaining required certifications and licenses. Values: Demonstrates the organization's values Customer Service Communications Continuous Improvement Collaboration/Teamwork Accountability Education, Experience, Skills and/or Licensing/Certification Required: Associates Degree in secretarial science, office management or related area with at least three years experience providing administrative support services, preferable in a health care setting. Accurate and efficient word processing skills. Ability to work independently and exercise discretion in confidential matters.
