Posting Summary | The Department of Psychiatry at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School is recruiting for a per-Diem, academic child and adolescent psychiatrist to join us. The successful candidate will participate in clinical care, medical student and graduate medical education and scholarly activity. This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of an innovative and thriving academic department. Responsibilities will include hospital-based consultation-liaison to the pediatric emergency room and inpatient units at University Hospital in Newark and some on-call duties. The ideal candidate is board-certified (or board-eligible) in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and licensed in the state of New Jersey. Specialized clinical skills, advanced professional certification, and prior teaching and research accomplishments are not required but are highly desirable.
