DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Finished Goods Line- Machine Operator Line
1 1st Shift Position Overview Your contribution will ensure that
Johnsonville products are of the highest quality and meet our defined
standards of safety. You\'ll learn about a variety of line processes,
expanding your existing knowledge for application into the business of
making sausage. There is unlimited opportunity for growth as you become
an active contributor to the Finished Goods Line Team and assist your
team in the quest for continual improvement. Essential Duties /
Responsibilities \* Operate and learn different machines/positions on
the line which may include: \* Labeler \* Wrapping Machine operator \*
Case packing operator \* Quality Enhancement Specialist \* Casings \*
Meat Delivery \* Stuffing operator \* Traying \* Line Support \* Proper
set up and teardown of equipment \* Accurately perform SAP transactions
in regards to job duties \* Take ownership for your personal safety and
the safety of all Members working around you Location: Watertown, WI
Coach for this position: Katie Mares, Team Leader (We don\'t have bosses
at Johnsonville. We have Coaches. They are there to help you develop
your talents. They cannot make you run laps.) Member Status: Full Time,
Hourly (At Johnsonville, you are not an employee. You are a Member and,
yes, Membership has its privileges - like the ability to buy sausage at
great discounts. Our more traditional benefits are great, too.) Starting
Hourly Rate: \$23.25 per hour Hours: 1st Shift; Line 1: 5:30am - 2:30pm

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education \* High School Diploma or
equivalent preferred Experience \* Machine Operator background preferred
\* Ability to obtain forklift certification and maintain a good safety
record if job duties require a forklift \* SAP experience preferred but
not required Skills and Competencies \* Basic Mechanical skills
/aptitude necessary for equipment set up and operation \* In depth
knowledge of equipment functions and the ability to assist in
troubleshooting \* Ability to read and understand a production schedule
\* Identify and resolve potential problems \* Ability to work
independently without direct supervision \* Must have desire to learn
and grow and share information with fellow Members \* Willingness to
continuously improve performance and job knowledge \* Excellent
prioritization skills \* Must have a very keen eye for visual inspection
purposes and a strong attention to detail as it relates to product
quality \* Excellent attendance and performance record \* Proactive team
player, dependable and detail oriented \* Must be able to identify
Critical Control Points (CCPs) and maintain all Good Manufacturing
Practices (GMPs) \* Must be able to read/write and complete production
documentation accurately \* Strong written and verbal communication
skills required Physical Demands \* Must be able to hand grip up to 50
lbs, and lift/carry/push/pull up to 30 lbs \* Walking and/or Standing
throughout the shift \* Bending and/or Reaching throughout the shift \*
