In your role, you will
- Coordinate strategic projects in the logistics team (Schedule changes, Budget, Implementation of new tools and others)
- Work in a change management environment with a strong focus on the customer
- Develop recovery schedules for production and track progress daily
- Communicate gaps and risks with stakeholders and management
- Develop and prepare PowerPoint presentations for management
- Coordinate any mitigation plans required to protect the BOM
- Lead backward/forward scheduling for the BOM (Bill of Material)
- Define critical path for BOM within build sequence with cross-functional teams
- Establishes plant-wide manpower forecasts based on the strategic plan and the Master Production Schedules
- Assists management in determining inventory policies and build policies
As our ideal candidate
• You have a bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Business, Inventory Management or related area or equivalent experience in a Logistics environment.
• You have 2-5 years of experience in Materials or Inventory Management.
• You have basic knowledge of MRP principles and supply chain management -experience or knowledge of SAP – Asset
• You have training in Project Management (asset)
• You have a good understanding of processes (Engineering, Logistics, Methods & Quality)
• You are efficient in managing time and priorities
• You have the ability to develop strategies and in managing impact and influence in interacting with various stakeholders
• You have a good knowledge of software such as MS Project and SAP, and are an expert with PowerPoint and Excel
• You have abilities in project management and are at ease in working in a new program environment
• You have good leadership skills in managing major initiatives involving working with internal and external partners
• You have excellent team spirit skills, as well as communicating, leading projects, and delivering successfully
