    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and utilize specialized software applications for tracking tax depreciation and deferred income taxes, with expert training provided.

    • Collaborate with various income tax functions to support fixed asset tax data used in provisions, returns, regulatory filings, budgets, and forecasts.

    • Prepare responses to inquiries and requests from regulatory and governmental authorities.

    • Supervise and review the work products of team members to ensure accuracy and compliance.

    • Provide technical leadership, coaching, and evaluation for staff development.

    • Lead the functional team by overseeing daily operations and offering strategic guidance.

    • Analyze financial reporting metrics, including regulatory flow-through and variance analysis, while developing and utilizing analytical reports.

    • Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

    • Strong knowledge of corporate income tax processes and compliance.

    • Experience with fixed asset management in a tax context.

    • Solid understanding of technical accounting principles.

    • Public Accounting experience strongly preferred (Big 4 or large regional)

    • Excellent analytical skills for financial metrics and reporting.

    • Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments and with external authorities.
