The Arc Mid-Hudson, recognized as a leader in our field and one of the largest employers in the Hudson Valley, has a new opportunity for a Revenue Cycle and Cost Analyst.  

Located in our Administrative offices in Kingston, this seasoned professional will report to the Director of Finance.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Cost Analysis associated with each clinical service, including staff, supplies, equipment, and facility usage to identify where costs can be reduced without compromising quality.

· Performance metrics including developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to clinical operations, such as patient volume and revenue per patient, to assess financial health and identify trends.

· Revenue Cycle management to analyze billing practices and coding accuracy to ensure proper reimbursement for clinical services.

· Clinical efficiency analysis to collaborate with clinical and financial leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within clinical operations

· Assist with month end close preparing journal entries related to the program, as needed.

· Prepare year end audit work papers as assigned by Director of Finance.

· Assist other finance staff as necessary to accomplish departmental tasks.

 

HOURS: 40/Monday through Friday/day hours

STARTING SALARY:   $80,000 to $ 95,000 per year, based on education and experience relevant to this position.

 

  • BS Degree in Accounting required.

  • Collaborative, hands-on style with colleagues at all levels required.

  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel required.

  • Must have an understanding of healthcare billing practices in order to accurately analyze clinical data and costs.

  • Must be experienced in and able to demonstrate proficiency with computerized software applications.
