The Work Control team at Waste Projects & Operations is seeking a dynamic professional who is a self-starter willing to support the team and take an active part in making them successful.
A day in the life of a Work Control Expeditor, under direct supervision involves, but is not limited to:
* Assisting the Work Management group in the implementation of efficiency elements such as work package expediting and work package backlog tracking.
* Acting as a back-up to the facility scheduler by facilitating project plan of the day and plan of the week meetings as the back-up facility scheduler.
* Updating and inputting the daily schedule with resources, man-hours and job status.
* Resolving scheduling conflicts.
* Generating reports for weekly planning meeting.
* Assisting with scheduling documentation issues.
* Providing information to others in order to track, and control work packages.
* Performing project level trending of efficiency related issues through analysis of Job Control System (JCS), and other CPCCo systems.
* Ensuring the materials, parts, and tools are on hand (working with engineering, material coordinators, tool crib, and procurement).
* Providing support to track and close those items that are a result of Corrective Action Plans
Basic Qualifications
* Early Career Level Grade 13: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Intermediate Grade 14: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 2 or more years of relevant experience.
The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
* Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Experience in construction industry, planning, scheduling, and/or procurement.
* Experience facilitating meetings and scheduling daily work activities.
* Experience with resource scheduling in JCS and in Maximo.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
* Early Career Level Grade 13: $67,725 - $81,663.
* Intermediate Grade 14: $71,200 - $89,800.
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
