Job Title: Veterinary Receptionist (Weekends)
Salary: £11.56 per hour
Location: Village Vet, Milton
Job Type: Permanent, Part-time
Hours: Average 8.5 hours per week
Shifts: Alternate weekends working both Saturday and Sunday 9am to 6pm

We would like to hear from candidates who are friendly, customer-focused and confident working in a busy environment.
The position will best suit a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service
Your role and responsibilities
Manage and deal with appointment bookings professionally and efficiently.
Support the business with a range of administrative duties.
Dispensing medication.
Able to work well in a fast-paced environment and still maintain a high level of customer service and complete all tasks to a high standard.
Show awareness of financial control within the practice.
Be happy to discuss financial issues with clients if needs be
Management of the practice diary to ensure all patients are booked in efficiently.
Maintain the highest professional and ethical standards.
Cleaning the consultation and waiting areas throughout the day.
Serving clients and taking payments, advising customers on products and services.
Banking duties.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Previous Customer facing experience
Strong administration and organisation skills
Confident using the telephone
Reception or Client Care experience
Cash handling and till operation
IT skills – confident in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook as a minimum.

Village Vet Milton is a very busy, progressive and forward thinking veterinary hospital. Open 24/7 365 days of the year, we pride ourselves on both our day to day and emergency veterinary care.
We also work closely with other local practices providing 24 hour support as their emergency veterinary provider
