Responsibilities:
- Investigates new methodological approaches, and algorithm and software development for fMRI, MRI, DTI.
- Develops new algorithms and software for MRI/fMRI/DTI data analysis.
- Researches activities involving ICA, clustering, multivariate analysis, and other novel approaches to obtain activation patterns in the brain.
- Develops test statistics for fMRI experimental designs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- M.S. degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, biomedical or electrical engineering, or related field.
- Coursework must include magnetic resonance physics, signal and image processing, fMRI, and time series analysis (ICA, clustering, and GLM).
Certifications:
- None required.

- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Have strong analytical skills, experience and interests in applied mathematics, statistics, MR physics, programming (C and Matlab), and signal and image processing.

Work Experience:
- fMRI knowledge and experience and interests in applied mathematics, statistics, MR physics, and signal and image processing.
- Knowledge of MRI and related signal processing.
- Experience with fMRI and time series analysis (ICA, clustering, GLM).
- Mathematical and analytical skills.
- Signal and image processing skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $30.41
Maximum hourly: $46.38
