Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Test Engineer, who will be responsible for QA testing on new features for an internal web application. You will come in as a mid-level test engineer, with a quality assurance mindset. Most of this role will be doing manual testing of applications, with a growing portion of automation development. A strong test engineer will be able to automate existing test scenarios, and manually execute existing test scenarios, and understand the scope of testing and coverage, and be able to clearly document defects identified in testing.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, with comfortability doing both manual and automated testing



Experience developing automated test cases using JavaScript, Playwright, Cypress or Selenium



Experience with end to end automation testing on the front end for web applications



Ability to build queries for a database to perform basic troubleshooting

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Telecommunications industry experience

Experience with a test management tool (ALM, Octane or TestRail preferred)



Test plan and test strategy -- setting up root cause analysis



Ability to relate bugs to features
