Senior Security Analyst, Managed Defense

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in Log Analysis, Security Monitoring, Cyber Security, Logging and Attacks.
  • 2 years of experience in Security Analysis, Networking, Windows, TCP/IP, Analytical Thinking, Security, Command-Line Interface, and Protocols.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in one or more of the following: GCIH, GCFA, GREM, CEH, CySA+, CC etc.
  • 2 years of experience in Linux Administration, Malware Detection, Malware, Threat Modeling, Network Architecture, or Incident Management.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor a broad range of appliances and provide detection and response service though security event analysis and review.
  • Perform live response data collection and analysis on hosts of interest in an investigation.
  • Perform incident response and basic malware analysis to investigate incidents.
  • Help establish the scope of the activity associated with any malware, and assess customer impact.
  • Maintain knowledge of tools and best-practices in forensics and incident response, and tools, techniques, and procedures.
