JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties This is a non-bargaining unit position. The
initial application review cut-off for this job announcement is 150

Subject position is primarily of an administrative nature in an office
setting, however where travel to work sites is required there may be
light physical work required, such as walking over uneven surfaces, or
assisting technical personnel in taking measurements or elevations.
Government travel for training, meetings, or customer interactions will
be required in this position. Applicants selected for this position may
be required to serve a one-year supervisory probationary period. Failure
to successfully complete the supervisory probationary period will result
in the employee being reassigned to a position in the agency of no lower
grade and pay than the one the employee left to accept the supervisory
or managerial position. Major Duties: Develop innovative acquisition
strategies using a wide variety of acquisition methods. Plan contracting
actions by performing duties such as developing acquisition strategies,
determining pre-negotiation positions, and determining the types of
contracts and negotiation authorities. Direct a full range of contract
administration actions such as contract modifications, negotiation of
changes, exercising of options, resolution of delays, disposition of
claims, tracking contractor performance, and other related matters.
Conduct cost and price analysis. Select between fixed price, cost
reimbursable, time and material, incentive contracts, award fee
contracts, etc. to determine the most appropriate type of contract to be
