The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Montana State Hospital.
This position is responsible for assisting in the hospital wide performance improvement program date collection and reporting. The position works independently to abstract clinical quality measure data per program specifications and inputs the data into the appropriate internal/external programs. The position is also responsible for analyzing the gaps in performance for improvement opportunity and provides reports for leadership.

- Ability to identify problems, research and develop/implement solutions.
- Knowledge of healthcare information system analysis and information system security.
- Ability to meet deadlines and to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Meet minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Health Administration, or related field.
- Two years of direct job-related clinical work experience including but not limited to project management, clinical date process & analysis, information technology systems development, etc.
- Certification/License in healthcare field preferred
- Project Management certification preferred.
- Other combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
