Beyond TalentEdge is hiring a Grinder for a global manufacturing company that serves customers in the aerospace, oil and gas, automotive, medical, consumer, and industrial markets.Schedule:B ShiftMonday Thursday: 2:45pm 12:15amFriday - 2:45pm - 6:45pm (hours are adjustable)Key Responsibilities:Set-Up, adjusts, and operates reciprocating or rotary wheel table-type surface grinders on more than one machine at a time.Work must follow to exacting tolerances with allowances made for effects of temperature and aging of raw material.Ability to perform mathematics and calculations as needed to complete tasksKnowledge on how to use different tooling and experience how to installSustains tooling to perform at maximum efficiencyCleaning machine and coolant tanks as neededFollows established company policiesExperience reading blueprintsMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDPrefers 2-4 years of grinding experienceDesired Attributes:Being able to sit, stand or walk for long periodsAble to lift 40 poundsExperience using G & M codeIntermediate skills of using a surface, cylindrical, Blanchard, centerless, and form grindersExperience with micrometers, indicators, calipers, Indi-squareAbility to hold 0.0001 dimensional, parallel, perpendicular, and flatness tolerancesPrior experience grinding hard materials such as ceramics, glass, and carbides"Beyond TalentEdge is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
