Humanity build homes, communities, and hope in Brown County. We also
help keep millions of pounds of unwanted merchandise out of our

Position Objective: The ReStore Truck Driver represents the Habitat
brand through courteous interactions with potential donors and customers
to support our mission and support ReStore operations. A primary
responsibility of this role is to drive the box truck to pick up
donations at businesses and residences and unload donations at the
ReStore in a timely, efficient manner. They work with the warehouse
supervisor to ensure donations are placed and ready for processing. In
addition to driving the truck to pick up donations, this position will
support other operational functions such as pricing, stocking, and
customer assistance in the ReStore. Specific Duties: Drive 24\' box
truck (large U-Haul). ONLY regular driver\'s license required. Ensure
timely and efficient movement of donations to deliver fast and quality
service. Communicate status of pickups to customers and donation manager
as needed to ensure great customer service. Load and unload merchandise
routinely at multiple sites. Stack, pad, and secure items in position on
the truck to prevent damage during shipment. Assist ReStore manager in
maintaining efficient operations by: o Maintain a clean and safe work
area. o Keeping the warehouse neat and orderly when unloading. o Putting
incoming donations from receiving dock in the proper location. o Moving
priced items to the sales floor. o Adhering to the ReStore\'s recycling
efforts. o Assisting customers and donors in loading and unloading
merchandise. o Utilizing and storing of dollies or carts for the safe
transport of donations. o Complete daily truck inspections. o Report any
truck maintenance issues to Donation Manager. o Clean/wash truck as
needed. o Communicate with management, volunteers, and customers
clearly. o Support Restore operations with pricing, stocking, and
customer assistance. o All other duties as assigned. Required Education,
Experience and Skills: Understand Habitat for Humanity mission. High
School Diploma or GED Valid Driver\'s License No vehicle infractions in
the previous three years. Must demonstrate safety awareness in vehicles
and use of equipment. Able to continuously lift 50 pounds or more
throughout the day. Team player able to help in warehouse and sales
floor as needed. Demonstrates problem-solving skills and ability to work
under pressure. Ability to work well and communicate effectively with
individuals from diverse backgrounds. Ability to establish, foster and
maintain effective working relationships with staff, volunteers, and the
public. Must be professional in appearance and a good ambassador of the
Habitat brand. Able to arrive at work promptly and dress neatly in a
Habitat for Humanity shirt (provided) Must pass a criminal background
check and sexual offender check. Anticipated Hours: 20-40 hours per
week. We will consider full time and part time candidates for this
position. Schedule is day shift. Monday-Friday with some Saturday work.
Flexible schedule allows for work life balance. This position will
partner with their supervisor to build a schedule that works for Habitat
and the individual. Salary and Benefits: Starting wage is \$17/hour
