CLA is looking to hire a Lead Systems Analyst to join our growing Internal IT team. About the role: The Lead Systems Analyst is responsible for working directly with customers to identify, prioritize, deliver and operate innovative IT solutions, they will analyze and define IT solutions or process changes to meet customer needs and minimize costs. They are involved and lead aspects of application lifecycle management, including roadmap planning, delivery, and support to releases. They own creation and maintenance of necessary application related documentation and communication. In Partnership with the business, they drive to ensure the IT solution meets continuously changing business needs. They will research and identify industry practices, products and processes that are trending and /or that best meet customer needs. The Lead Systems Analyst will also work as a liaison with Product Owners and SCRUM teams to develop stories and identify functional and nonfunctional requirements. They will also serve as subject matter experts supporting application implementation, end user support, upgrades and deployments. Essential Job Functions:
Work closely with Product Owners, SCRUM Masters and Business Analysts to identify functional and nonfunctional requirements
Develop a deep understanding of support systems and processes to build robust user stories and define epics that align with business requirements
Interface with IT and business partners to contribute to and lead analysis aspects of roadmap delivery
Create strategies around app support, IT and business process training
Develop key relationships with business and IT leadership to gather high level requirements, document key business objectives, and assist with work intake
Identify, document and drive resolution to capability gaps and operational risks
Support Business Analysts with developing templates, standard operating procedures, knowledgebase articles and other documentation as required to meet operational needs
Develop and execute operational readiness strategies
Work with business partners to drive corporate change management
Lead system health assessments through analysis of application operation, identification of operational risks, and recommendation on lifecycle planning events such as upgrades and decommissions, request for proposal of new software, and strategic roadmap planning
Understanding of DevOps agile project management
Understanding of ITIL practices (Change Management, Problem Management, Incident Management, etc)
Proven skills with Microsoft Office suite tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Word
Provide technical implementation, support, upgrades, and guidance of applications What you will need:
Bachelor's degree or combination of experience, education and training may be accepted in lieu of degree
5+ years of work experience supporting applications and systems
5+ years of experience with project or product delivery practices, including SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies
Analytic thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements
Demonstrated ability to learn and understand IT and business capabilities or processes in-depth
