We are currently adding to our Commercial Installation Team. We are seeking Forepersons for the sheet metal trade.
Job Description
The Foreperson will be required to manage the field operations for medium and large size commercial projects. The Foreperson adjusts priorities to ensure maximum productivity and ensures that projects develop according to plans developed by engineers and architects, on time and within budgetary guidelines.
Job Duties:
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and coordination drawings
• Manage the construction crews and manage the overall construction project.
• Keeping the job on schedule and effectively using the skills of all workers.
• Training less experienced workers
• ensure that all needed material or equipment be scheduled and onsite when needed
• Work with the Project Managers and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure that work is done on time and within budget.
• Responsible for managing and maintaining on site safety guidelines.
Requirements:
• 10 years as a Commercial Field Foreman in the Sheet Metal Industry
• Journeyman level license and/or Plumbing License preferred
• Education in trade school or apprenticeship program strongly preferred
• Ability to work as a team player
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
