Role Summary:

Perform a variety of servicing functions, such as lift, carry, and move material; load and unload trucks, trailers, etc. Sweep and clean offices lavatories, wash rooms, etc. Replenish supplies. Empty waste containers. Polish hardware. Use disinfectants, wash walls, floors, windows, oil or wax floors, move furniture, deliver packages, shovel snow, etc. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a working environment that changes daily in order to keep production materials moving to meet customer and manufacturing requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery as needed (forklift, power jack, cranes/hoists/slings, and powered hand tools).
  • Operate sweeper machine and manually sweep, run floor polish machines, and mop floors.
  • Removes trash to outside dumpsters using carts, hand truck or fork list.
  • Removes metal chips from machines and disposed to proper processing areas.
  • Distribute materials as needed.
  • Provide positive support of all business initiatives.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Fork truck license or willingness to get fork truck license.
  • Ability to lift, transport, move and/or manipulate boxes or other materials up to 30lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience as a material handler or warehouse worker preferred
  • Maintain quality workmanship with attention directed to task at all times.
  • Must display good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to adapt to new methods and/or customer satisfaction.
  • Must display good communication skills
  • Experience with computer preferred
