Our Client in the Northside of Pittsburgh is looking for a Workplace Coordinator. This is a contract to hire position. The hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30AM-3:30PM & Friday 7:30AM-3:00PM with a 30-minute lunch break. The pay rate is based off of experience from $16-$19 an hour.
Job Description:
o Pick up mail daily
o Date stamp, open, sort and distribute mail
o Process and prepare all outgoing mail
• BUILDING MAINTENANCE
o Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all areas of the facilities, inside and outside.
o Maintain service cycle records
o Clean and organize work areas
o Report defects, damages and malfunctions of any kind to supervisor
o Field building maintenance issues from staff and propose solutions
o Perform light maintenance as necessary
o Obtain proposals and bids for projects as requested by management
o Oversee projects by contractors as assigned
o Communicate with cleaning company as needed
o Prepare building maintenance reports to management
• INVENTORY
o Organize and maintain supply & promotional inventory
o Prepare purchase orders when supply low
• RECORD RETENTION
o Work with supervisor and staff to rotate boxes
o Organize boxes for shredding service
o Shred internally as instructed by supervisor
• MISCELLANEOUS
o Make bank deposits as necessary
o Prepare Board room for scheduled meetings
o Verify supplies and cleanliness
o Make coffee upon request
o Pick up lunch/food as requested
o Open/close building
o Photocopying as requested
o Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
• Strong organization skills
• Several years’ experience in related field, including minor maintenance experience preferred
• Motivated self-starter
• Ability to operate mail and other office machinery
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work individually
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
• Observant to identify technical defects in electrical units and other equipment
• Ability to manage time, meet deadlines and coordinate work functions
• Some lifting required
• Flexible hours and weekends when needed
• High School degree, diploma, or GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
