Accountable for overall day to day management and optimization of software and hardware IT renewals. Manage and lead portfolio of IT renewals that includes working in collaboration with vendors, procurement, technology leaders and business owners. Adhere to purchasing system policy and overall company purchasing requirements. Ensure that the desktop hardware and software asset inventory systems are maintained and accurate.




Responsibilities:



Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness and optimization of IT software and hardware renewal process and tools.
Ensure all IT hardware and software renewals are captured and managed in renewal system.
Establish defined process to review IT renewals with key stakeholders against prior years to ensure accurate renewal payments.
Effectively manage timelines and co-term/optimization opportunities.
Verify the data integrity of all renewal’s quotes, purchase orders and invoices.
Proactively communicate with internal teams to fulfill maintenance renewal timelines.
Collaborate with vendors, procurement, IT leadership and business owners on requirements, renewal strategy and renewal processing.
Drive on-going savings and optimization on renewals rates.
Conduct data analysis and report on renewal portfolio on a regular cadence.
Provide feedback to further define internal processes and integration.
Serve as a team member; may also indirectly assist/guide contingent workers.
Responsible for compliance with applicable corporate policies and procedures.
Maintain productive relationships with peers, IT leadership, functional business areas, and external partners.
Work with general supervision.
Regular assignments are completed with minimal supervision.
Has influence to decisions that impact planning and goal setting activities.
Independently conceives, develops and aids in implementing general workflow process improvements.
Medium/high complexity work.
Exercise latitude in the approach to problem solving and conflict resolution.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
4-7 years of experience
2-3 years of experience with software and hardware renewals preferred.
1-2 years of experience in IT asset management preferred.
Knowledge on asset management best practices and IT renewals.
Advanced knowledge in the use of the entire Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent Customer Service and support skills.
Advanced Knowledge in records keeping, statistical analysis, reporting, and asset lifecycle.
Advanced Knowledge of desktop operating systems, application support as well as desktop application licensing and contract management.
Advanced Knowledge and understanding of process flow and inventory system functionality
Strong interpersonal skills.
Experience with Apptio, Poseidon, Contract Logic, Flexera preferred.
