We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team on a contract basis. This role is based in Glen Allen, Virginia, and offers an opportunity to support daily administrative operations in a focused and efficient environment. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth office functionality by managing front-desk responsibilities, assisting with clerical tasks, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Act as the first point of contact by answering inbound calls and directing them to the appropriate departments.
• Welcome visitors and assist them as needed.
• Maintain and restock office supplies to ensure the workspace remains organized.
• Perform general administrative tasks, including document handling and filing.
• Support mailroom operations by sorting, organizing, and distributing mail.
• Assist with billing functions and basic clerical duties.
• Utilize computer programs and CRM systems to input and manage data efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to address office needs and improve workflow processes.
• At least 1 year of experience in an administrative or office assistant role.
• Proficiency in using computer programs and CRM systems.
• Strong ability to answer and manage inbound calls with a high level of professionalism.
• Familiarity with billing functions and clerical tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable and self-motivated with a commitment to maintaining a well-organized office environment.
