JOB REQUIREMENTS: Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking up to four attorneys
with 2-5 years of litigation experience to join the Firm as Special
Counsel in our Chicago, Detroit, Jacksonville, Madison, Milwaukee,
Orlando, Salt Lake City, or Tallahassee office. Alternate Foley office
locations may be considered based on business need and the candidate\'s
experience. These are full time, non-partner track positions supporting
our Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group. The
attorneys in these positions will be responsible for a high volume of
commercial collection matters in a fast-paced environment and must be
confident in their autonomy. The vast majority of cases proceed to
arbitration, so the positions require individuals who are highly
organized, have strong time management skills, can adhere to strict
deadlines, and the ability to interface with clients and borrowers
directly.Our ideal candidates must have strong legal knowledge of
enforcement of commercial lending remedies, have handled contested
American Arbitration Association (AAA) arbitrations and/or appeared in
court examining witnesses and routinely presented evidence, and have
familiarity with AAA rules and processes. Experience with documenting
forbearance agreements is also strongly preferred. Strong writing and
communication skills are essential. Qualified candidates must have a
positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, an exceptional work
ethic, and must be comfortable having regular, direct interaction with
clients and interfacing with counsel. Key attributes include the ability
to be objective, non-reactive, and able to stay calm under pressure. We
are seeking well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated lawyers, who have
demonstrated an ability to thrive in a sophisticated practice in a busy,
collaborative environment. To be considered, candidates must hold a JD
from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and active
members of the jurisdiction(s) where the candidates are admitted to
practice. Timely admission to the state bar coinciding with the office
of hire will be a condition of employment. Interested applicants should
