Elma, NY. Steuben Foods. Blending Operator Grade 1. FT. Benefits. $18.85/Hour. Responsibilities: Displays good work ethics and works well with management and other blenders. Must be able to follow and carry out direction given by leadspersons or supervisor. Capable of lifting 55 lbs. repetitively. Shows the ability to learn blending and CIP hook ups. Good attendance. Exhibits sufficient math and calculator skills. Successfully completed Forklift Operator Training course. Records required CIP information on CIP charts, and individual pieces of equipment (tags) with date, time and initials. Paper work is neat, accurate and complete. Uses the pull sheet when staging to verify all ingredients and follows blend sheet directions. Demonstrates basic understanding of Pre-Operation Blending preparations. Demonstrates the ability to identify (and report) any abnormalities of ingredients or blends, and the importance to provide safe quality product. Exhibits basic understanding of blending procedures + CIP circuits in area of operation. Equipment/Training Knowledge: Strong math skills - Ability to use a calculator proficiently. Forklift certification. Knowledge of CIP procedures. Must follow plant GMPs, sanitation, cleanliness and safety requirements. Some mechanical aptitude.
