Mission for Position
Provides nursing care within an inpatient setting, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. Offers leadership and guidance to nursing staff. Conducts assessments of patient needs, plans and implements care, and evaluates responses to treatment.
Position Summary
Create a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients, families, and friends.
Plan, implement, and coordinate nursing care activities and personalized treatment plans.
Administer treatment interventions, conduct therapies, and dispense medications based on the patient's diagnosis, needs, and physician orders.
Communicate the nursing and treatment requirements of the patient to nonclinical staff assigned to their care.
Collaborate with physicians, the multidisciplinary team, and external health and social agencies.
Diligently observe patients, documenting and reporting symptoms or changes accurately.
Address patients' personal needs (oral hygiene, toileting, bathing, dressing, ambulating, etc.) as directed by physician orders.
Ensure prompt and meticulous completion of all required patient-related documentation.
Uphold the quality of care by following therapeutic standards, assessing health outcomes against patient care goals, and meeting regulatory standards.

We seek dedicated Registered Nurses for full-time and part-time positions during overnight hours. The shifts available are either 8 or 12 hours, with options from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. or 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Weekend rotation can be determined and chosen from a weekend warrior position with increased benefits or up to every fourth weekend. Our Reflections Geriatric Mental Health Inpatient Unit boasts a dynamic team supporting your short and long-term career aspirations. Whether you are at the beginning of your nursing journey or seeking a new season in your career, our unit offers an ideal environment.
Collaborating seamlessly as a team, we ensure continuous 24/7 coverage of the unit's needs. Our flexible scheduling options reflect our commitment to your work-life balance including eight or 12-hour shifts, consistent block scheduling, and the choice between full or part-time hours. Additionally, we recognize the importance of your personal time, offering the option to be a weekend warrior or rotate up to every fourth weekend for those who prefer fewer weekends. Be an accredited nursing school graduate with a current Minnesota RN license

All team members at the Geriatric Mental Health Inpatient Unit are required to actively participate in a range of physical tasks, encompassing sitting, standing, walking, aiding in ambulation, managing challenging behaviors, and assisting with patient lifting.
The role within this healthcare facility demands a commitment to an around-the-clock schedule, operating continuously throughout all 365 days of the year.
