Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cook to join our team. As a Housekeeper/Cook, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various areas of our facility, and preparing meals for our residents. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing a clean and comfortable environment for our residents will contribute to their overall well-being. Responsibilities: - Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming - Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas - Change bed linens and make beds - Restock supplies in designated areas - Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly - Follow established safety procedures and guidelines - Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel - Adhere to infection control policies and procedures Skills: - Knife skills for food preparation - Experience in cooking or food handling is a plus - Familiarity with working in a dietary department or culinary setting - Knowledge of menu planning and meal preparation techniques - Previous experience as a dietary aide or catering assistant is beneficial Requirements: - Previous experience as a Housekeeper or Cook or in a similar role is preferred - Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision If you are a motivated individual with a passion for cleanliness and creating a comfortable environment, we encourage you to apply for this position.
