The Wireless EPM group is a growing, dynamic, results-oriented team in the Hardware Engineering PM organization. Our team is looking for a high energy, dedicated Engineering Program Manager to drive antenna and wireless product development of Apple's iPad & accessories from concept to mass production. In this role, you will lead multiple teams to track design maturity, define build plans, meet critical deadlines, and stay on schedule. Key Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail to track design changes and ability to handle complex build matrices and micro schedules
  • Experience with consumer electronics manufacturing and/or RF testing processes, preferably, but not required, related to antennas
  • Drive technical meetings between geographically diverse antenna/ RF/ product design/ manufacturing/ operations/ quality teams, and follow-through with action items
  • Responsibility for off-shore supplier management

Description

This is an exciting, fast-paced role requiring both technical expertise and broad program management skills. As a Wireless EPM, you will partner with teams throughout Apple and with external suppliers. You will contribute to the technical strategy, drive engineering build schedules including material planning and design readiness, and be responsible for handling and communicating status and issues along the way. We value your ability to lead and develop new processes and ideas when it makes sense to re-evaluate, which at Apple is always! You will be working with technology suppliers, vendors, and highly skilled teams with a diverse set of backgrounds. Position will require some international travel for factory builds and vendor visits.

Education & Experience

B. Sc. Degree in Engineering required, Electrical or Mechanic Engineering preferred 3 years of relevant work experience in hardware engineering, preferably in technical program management
