SUMMARY
Primarily responsible for providing support to our financial institution through technology. Provide a full range of professional, technical, and broad support to bank personnel by investigating and reconciling escalated questions/concerns regarding technical needs and requirements. Participate with project teams through the facilitation of change management, ensure projects are completed on time, and follow-up as necessary. Partner with bank personnel to acquire necessary understanding of business objectives and process with IT to investigate new uses of existing systems to achieve cohesive process flows. Collaborate with project manager to implement technology changes to achieve short and long-term business goals. Participate in small to large project/change efforts to provide subject matter and application expertise. Gather data to inform impact analysis for business and IT. Collaborate with system administrators to have well-planned implementations and installations that follow project requirements. Conduct training to end-users and provide solutions through the maintained application catalog as well as craft trainings for business units to meet business objectives. Documenting business requirements in collaborative workspaces while maintaining open communication channels using the Microsoft stack of tools. The Business Systems Analyst helps team members grow their business, systems, and process knowledge and models superior end-user experience, communication, and collaboration. Maintain working knowledge of bank policies and procedures. Understands and effectively manages the catalog of all internal bank products, applications, and services.
The salary for this role will be between$66k and $94k. The specific salary offered will dep end on several factors including but not limited to applicants skills and prior relevant experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily monitoring and facilitating of IT change management.
- Perform Systems Development Lifecyle as well as minor project management.
- Function as lead liaison between Riverview Community Bank and application vendors when appropriate.
- Assist IT with collaborative knowledge exchange between departments.
- Maintain and provide up to date knowledge and development of standard policies and procedures.
- Keep up to date and application inventory/catalog.
- Ensure regulatory guidelines are considered when it comes to internal and external technology audits.
- Assists in the analysis of stakeholder objectives, and the underlying issues arising from investigations into business requirements and problems and identify options for consideration.
- Contribute to selection of the most appropriate means of representing business requirements in the context of a specific change initiative, ensuring traceability back to source.
- Participate and ensure that technical functions for branches and departments are applied, reviewed, and maintained through coordination of staff training.
- Prepare and/or complete various reports and forms accurately to follow established policies and procedures.
- Utilize project management tools through Microsoft Project and primary helpdesk ticketing/change management system.
- Proficient to expert level of understanding of Microsoft Teams and comfortability using its native functions.
- Working knowledge of SQL databases and basic SQL understanding.
- Comfortable in Microsoft SharePoint as well as utilizing the Microsoft stack to achieve business goals.
- Provide customer service and use problem-solving skills to satisfy bank personnel.
- Participate as assigned in special task force groups to assist in developing and bringing new products and technology to the branches/departments.

- Work independently and efficiently on duties assigned.
- Follow all Riverview policies and procedures.
- Lead or participate in project teams - including bank employees and outside vendors.
- Complete projects as assigned by Supervisor
RELATIONSHIPS
- Daily contact with Supervisor for consultation and direction regarding operational activities.
- Contact with bank personnel and department managers in aiding to fulfill their banking needs.
- Frequent contact with business representatives providing sales, service products and equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree and three years related experience and training, or equivalent combination of related education and experience. Previous experience in an IT environment.
SKILLS
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to author reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, clients, and the public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Teams.
- Ability to understand components of Operational software programs
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
