Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful And Future-Oriented

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee Platform Screen Door (PSD) works for turnkey project from System Design, Procurement, Manufacturing and Fabrication (PMF), Construction, Testing & Commissioning (T&C) to Defects Liability Period (DLP).

  • Ensure the PSD supplier completes all stipulated works as per requirement specifications and awarded contract.

  • Monitor the PSD project schedule and progress, ensure activities are completed in a timely manner.

  • Participate in regular coordination and site meetings with civil contractors, system wide contractors, clients and other project stakeholders to address any arising matters.

  • Follow up with PSD supplier to resolve any technical issue relating to PSD system.

  • Provide regular project coordination and site progress updates to PSD Manager.

  • Review and submit relevant project documents including drawings, work procedures and corresponding reports.

  • Attend and witness Type Tests, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), review Certificate of Conformity and conduct equipment delivery checks.

  • Monitor and ensure PSD installation works and T&C are conducted safely whilst ensuring quality assurance.

  • Follow up on DLP matters and necessary rectifications after completing each phase of the project.

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Railway Engineering or equivalent.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in engineering/railway projects will be considered

  • Good written and verbal communication skills, able to demonstrate coordination capability.

  • Prepared to attend regular site works and inspections.

  • Team player who is proactive, analytical and well organized

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint

  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage (when liaise with Chinese speaking associates).
