We are looking for an experienced Controller to lead the financial operations of our organization in Alachua, Florida. This role involves overseeing accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing budgets, financial reporting, and fostering collaboration across departments to achieve organizational goals.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee all accounting functions, including billing, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and revenue recognition.<br>• Prepare and present detailed financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.<br>• Manage cash flow by maintaining accurate projections and ensuring timely payments of all accounts.<br>• Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls to strengthen financial processes.<br>• Advise senior management on financial strategies, including capital investments, pricing, and contract negotiations.<br>• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations, including tax filings and reporting requirements.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with company-wide goals.<br>• Monitor departmental budgets and provide variance reports to support financial decision-making.<br>• Build and maintain the organization's accounting infrastructure to support long-term and short-term goals.<br>• Lead and mentor the accounting team, ensuring accountability and encouraging growth.
