What you'll do:

  • Business Requirement Gathering: Work with business stakeholders to understand their objectives, challenges, and requirements. Translate these needs into clear and actionable user stories and technical specifications while influencing the organization roadmap commitments.
  • Salesforce Configuration & Customization: Configure Salesforce to meet business needs, including custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and page layouts. Assist with process automation via Flow, Process Builder, and Apex as needed.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between business users, developers, and technical teams to ensure alignment on requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • System Integration Support: Assist in defining requirements for efficiently integrating the tier 1 applications (ie Salesforce, Oracle, etc)  with other business systems (e.g., ERP, marketing automation tools) and ensure seamless data flow across platforms.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement. Recommend and implement Salesforce-based solutions that enhance productivity, efficiency, and data integrity across the business application ecosystem.
  • Testing and Validation: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure that Salesforce solutions meet business requirements and are thoroughly tested before deployment.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to business users to ensure effective use of the entire solution suite and adoption of new features or processes. Act as the primary point of contact for user questions and troubleshooting.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Design and implement custom reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders with actionable insights into key business metrics and KPIs.
  • Application Maintenance & Upgrades: Assist in monitoring and maintaining the enterprise platforms, ensuring updates and releases are properly managed and that the system evolves in line with business needs and application best practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, workflows, and any changes made to the Salesforce environment as well as the end to end business flow.

What you'll bring:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Systems Analyst or similar role, with a proven track record of successfully gathering requirements, configuring Salesforce, and supporting users.
    • 8+ years related experience.
    • Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud. Experience with other Salesforce modules is a plus (e.g., CPQ, Community Cloud).
    • Experience with process automation tools such as Flow, Process Builder, and Apex (optional).
    • Familiarity with system integrations (APIs, middleware, and third-party tools).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency with Salesforce tools, including Salesforce Lightning, Reports & Dashboards, and AppExchange apps.
    • Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.
    • Ability to analyze and model business processes, and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
  • Certifications:
    • Salesforce Certified Administrator (Salesforce Admin), Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, or other relevant Salesforce certifications are preferred.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Salesforce Development: Familiarity with Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components) is a plus.
  • Data Management: Experience with data migrations, data quality, and data governance in Salesforce.
  • Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Project Management: Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Jira, Scrum, Kanban).
